As all grades of our EPS absorb energy, they are ideal materials for packaging used to protect material from damage. They are also chemically inert, which gives them the ability to store food and other products. Manufacturers may also be interested in our material’s ability to resist abrupt temperature changes and boundless possibilities with regard to the final product’s shape.
A series and AL series
A series EPS and AL series EPS can be used to produce standard foam. Lower density grades can be used for thicker products, whereas high density grades can be used for thinner products. It is also suitable for machinery and electronics packaging material, buoys, containers for food and drinks, decorative materials, and lost-foam casting. Our AL series EPS is our version of our A series EPS with a pentane level of below 4.0%. A series EPS has a pentane level of above 6.0% and also has construction applications.
B series EPS has a high expansion ratio. Though it is primarily used to create low density blocks, it can also be used for crafts and boxes. It is also suitable for machinery and electronics packing, buoys, containers for food and drinks, decorative materials, and lost-foam casting.
C series EPS is our fire-resistant grade of EPS. It’s primarily used for blocks. Lower density grades can be used to make large packing products, and higher densities also have special uses. It can also be used for thermal insulation, construction materials, lightweight fill materials, and packaging for electronics.
D series EPS can be expanded quickly. Aside from blocks, it can also be used to make packaging material to protect fragile items such as China or make any kind of high-density products.
